A consistent, biblical worldview is far more than a buzzword.  It is also more than a department of ministry at Calvary Baptist Church.  A biblical worldview provides the framework or theological grid through which we wish to make all ministry decisions as well as everyday life decisions.  While a biblical worldview permeates each ministry area of CBC, the particular ministry area which bears this name exists to teach and equip our members to develop a proper view of the world and a proper view for the world through embracing the fullness of God’s Story which will lead to our rightly engaging His world.

This purpose will be worked out through teaching the Bible and its impact on theological and philosophical reflection on contemporary life issues and our decisions in business, education, medicine, relationships, entertainment, and all other areas of life.  We will also seek to equip our assembly to share their faith in Jesus Christ with others in this world.  We will strive to tell the whole gospel for the whole person to the whole world.  We furthermore intend to equip the assembly to represent the reign of God as we serve our community with compassion as we continually evaluate the needs that exist.
